I am an experienced Counselling Psychologist, chartered with the British Psychological Society, and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, I am also registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) as a psychotherapist.

I have worked for nearly 40 years in various positions and different contexts within the NHS, third sector organisations and independently, working with adults and young people. I bring a warm, open, and down-to-earth approach to my work and aim to provide a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space to talk.

I have extensive experience of delivering psychological therapy for a wide range of problems including: anxiety, panic, phobias, PTSD, OCD, trauma and abuse, low mood and depression, loss and grief, problems with alcohol or other drugs, problems related to self-esteem, identity, and self-worth, self-harming,  relationship difficulties and problems at work. I can provide Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), EMDR, solution focused therapy (SFT) and short-term dynamic therapy. I offer an integrative approach that is tailored to an individual’s particular need.
